Diagnosis

Vertex reticulate in front of ocellar triangle, smooth and shiny laterad to and inside ocellar triangle; postmarginal vein short (0.2X as long as stigmal), stigmal vein sessile; tergites 1+2 cover 0.4X the length of gaster, hind margin of first gastral tergite smoothly curved forwards. Similar to aequalis, but with gastral tergites 1+2 shorter in female (0.4X the length of gaster, 0.6X in aequalis), and with fore wing surface below marginal vein more hairy.
